Lucas:

Bridge The Gap listeners, Josh and Lucas here, we’re going to bring to you the VIP Ignite Experience overview. We’re going to update you on all the details of this amazing event that we’re gonna have in Nashville, August 16th and 17th. You’re gonna want to lean into this because you do not want to miss out on participating with us at this event.Josh, this has been something that we’ve been planning for so many months and you and I, we sat down together first of all, and we said, look, there’s already so many great conferences, so many great events in our industry. We don’t really need to duplicate efforts here, but if we’re going to do an event, we want to do something that is unique and has never been done really in any industry. And we’ve put it all out there. We’ve really pulled out all the stops. We’ve brought in some really big players to this event to make sure that when we say, trust us on this, this is going to be something you don’t want to miss. We are going to deliver.

Josh:

Yeah. So I couldn’t be more excited. Lucas. I mean, we’re inching close to this event. I’m actually getting a little bit nervous and I’m not one that gets nervous, but it’s like an excited butterflies in your stomach before that big game. Because one, I am so excited to see people. To touch people and yes, I am going to hug you. So, for those of you that have already registered, I can’t wait to see you Lucas can’t wait to see you. Our teams can’t wait to see you, but more than that, there’s going to be new people that you have never met before. We’re going to build relationships and we’re going to ignite on this night on August 16th, we’re going to ignite change that is going to rapidly spread like wildfire throughout our industry. And we want you to join the movement. Lucas, I’ve been so excited. This is our first event. And we’ve had an outpouring of people and partners that have joined. So the group that’s going to be there is all interested in the same thing. It’s like a united culture and people that are excited to see each other. So, I’m really, really looking forward to it.

Lucas:

Already have over 20 high level sponsors that have said, look, we want to be a part of this event. We’re going to help you put this on. We have over 50 senior living operator companies already registered and participating in this. They’ve said, look, we want to come to this. We want to experience this. And we’ve got a great lineup of talent. So let us talk to you guys about this event from top to bottom, to let you know the reasons why behind it, and then what you can expect when you get there. Josh, you, me and Sara sat down and we said, look, if we’re going to do this, we’re going to do it right. We’re going to do it really big. We’re going big on this. But we’re going very narrow. It’s invite only. 200 people that are from a variety of influencer categories in the senior living aging space.

Lucas:

And it’s going to be in Nashville, August 16th and 17th. A very unique event where you’re not going to get to see your traditional industry speakers. You’re not going to get to see your traditional CEO panels. There’s other conferences that you can go to to be able to get that type of information. This is going to be an event where you’re going to come and be immersed immediately into an experience that does two things: builds trust and ignites change. Josh, we have bought out, taken down the entire Bobby Hotel in Nashville. I remember very vividly you and I coming together and touring these different places in Nashville. And we walked into the Bobby and specifically walked up to the rooftop and we looked at each other and we said, this is the place.

Josh:

Yeah. So creating the experience that you’re just going to have to be there quite honestly, to experience there’s really nothing that we can compare it to. It’s literally thought and intention has gone into every aspect, even the venue. So music city, Nashville, Tennessee, August 16th and 17th at the Bobby hotel. If you have not ever stayed or heard of the Bobby hotel, we can connect you to them. You need to go check it out, even on their social. You can go to our website, Lucas, I think, even on this episode, we’re going to actually show our listeners a little bit of a preview of the website that we’ve developed to help create this experience and prepare people for what they’re going to encounter. But the Bobby, the rooftop, everything about the decor, what it stands for, it’s going to help shape the experience from the time they get out of their vehicle curbside, they will be welcomed to a beautiful place that actually makes me feel cooler, just stepping into it.

Lucas:

Absolutely. It is an amazing place from the moment you walk in, you think you’ve just stepped into Elvis Presley’s living room or something like that. The entire place is themed. And it’s going to tie into our theme. So Josh, the VIP experience that’s, you know, typically people think of VIP, they think very important person. Well, for this, we’re going to challenge the people that attend to change that mindset a little bit and saying, this is very important people. And that means the people in your organization, no matter if you’re a vendor partner or a developer operator, the people that are in your organization, who are the VIP’s, these are very important people that help you deliver on your mission and your vision and your promises. And if you’re a developer operator, the very important people are the residents that call this place home, that live inside your community. So we’re going to challenge them on this VIP concept.

Josh:

The VIP people that will be attending this conference, this event, this experience, you can’t put it into a box. We don’t even know what to call it. So we called it an experience. Those people are going to go back to their very important people, which are those teams and those residents, and they will be bathed in a culture that will give them some tools to help ignite change far after this event. And I couldn’t be more excited. And the people that we have assembled these VIP’s these very important people in this lineup are going to help to shape that mindset that will deliver change in the organization long after this event is over.

Lucas:

This is a 24 hour event. People are able to fly in the morning of the 16th and fly out the afternoon of the 17th. If they want to. We encourage people to come in early and stay late. Come hang out with us. We’re going to definitely experience Nashville and have a great time. But specifically for the event, we’ve got 24 hours together and you have to sleep for some of that time. So on day one, you’re going to come in and you’re going to check in and you’re going to be thrust into an immediate open experience. We’ve got a series of three experiences that you’re going to do in small groups that build upon one another. And just trust me, these are going to be things that are going to challenge you. You’re going to get uncomfortable. You’re going to have some awkward conversations. You’re going to be involved with shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee with some of the people that are in the industry. Maybe even some of your competitors for that standpoint, but this is an event where we are going to take down titles. And we’re going to say, look, we are a group of people that care about the senior living industry, and we care about outcomes. We care about building trust, not only amongst our group, but with the marketplace and that’s immediately what’s going to happen for the first half of day one.

Josh:

Well, one of the things that excites me most about this event is the very important people that are gathering for this event are representing developers, owners, operators, industry partners, and also our keynote and sales rebellion team that’s going to be there. All of the people that are there are part of making a change together. So our industry partners that will be there alongside are developer owner operators, they’re going to get just as much from this event and they’re going to be just as much a part of igniting change in our industry as the developers, owners, and operators. And that’s a very unique factor about this event.

Lucas:

Guys, think big, think huge because that’s what’s going to take place here after these experiences unfold and you are surprised, delighted, challenged. We’re going to have an amazing networking on the rooftop. We’re going to move upstairs, get on that rooftop in Nashville, which Nashville is so known for their rooftops. It’s just an incredible thing that’s going to take place. We walked up to that rooftop when we were there and we thought, this is where a lot of these principles and themes are gonna come together. And we’re all going to be able to see each other for the first time, a bit of a reunion taking place. Enjoying some of the best drinks, best experiences, best food that you can have. And just before our talent and entertainment comes on, after that, we’re going to be bringing on some of our talent. We’re going to talk about some of the music that we have coming up. First off, our good friend and talented Nashville singer songwriter, Jay Allen. For those of you have followed us for awhile you know, Jay’s been on our program and you know his story about his mother who had early onset Alzheimer’s and also passed away. A very, very, you know, his story is just so captivating. And he wrote a song called blank stares, and it has captivated millions and millions of people. He’s an advocate for Alzheimer’s and an advocate for raising money around this very very challenging disease that so many people face.

Josh:

So Jay, outside of being just a great human and really being passionate about many of the things that our industry is passionate about, he gets it. He understands. This guy is talented. I mean, he is rapidly moving up. The charts sold out venues and concerts. He’s now touring all over the place. So we couldn’t be more grateful that when we called him, he said, yes. And so he is going to put on a fun show for those VIP’s that are at this event.

Lucas:

Very intimate setting up there on the rooftop. People are gonna want to really lean into this. And then after Jay speaks, let’s talk about some of our keynotes here, right after Jay, we’re going to bring up a guy named Jesse Itzler. And I know a number of our listeners are like, Jesse, how did you guys get Jesse? And then there’s some of our listeners are like, who’s Jesse? Well, that’s actually very, very exciting. So Jesse Itzler, he is a serial entrepreneur. He’s a wild out of the box guy. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Sarah Blakely, the founder of Spanx. So an incredible relationship they’re dynamic. They’ve got their kids, they live life out loud, follow them on Instagram and you’ll get to see how they live life. He is a endurance athlete. He has a organization called build your life resume. He’s all about legacy. He’s all about building relationships, trust and experiences. A very unique thing for the reason why we wanted to specifically get Jesse. His father is under the care for his dementia right now. And so Jesse has some very important things to speak into our industry related to building trust .

Josh:

I can’t wait. I’m I’m in his fan club. I follow him on Instagram. He’s inspiring. He’s challenging. And he’s entertaining. So this is going to be an amazing kickoff with this keynote. And it just continues to evolve from there and the party just gets better and the entertainment gets better the whole time. Lucas, I couldn’t be more excited.

Lucas:

And our attendees are going to get to some time to meet with Jesse. He’s going to have a book signing and a meet and greet where you can get a picture after Jesse is complete, then we’re going to get into our songwriters round circle. Now, Josh, this is something that you can not buy a ticket to in Nashville. This is something so unique. You have a personal connection to a man named Cary Barlowe. Cary Barlowe is a singer songwriter in Nashville, and he’s bringing together a couple of his friends, Josh Thompson, and also Steven Lee Olsen. Josh, over the last decade of top 10 songs on the charts in country music, the chances are probably nine out of 10 chances that one of these three men wrote that song. They’re going to get on stage. They’re going to tell the stories behind writing songs for guys like Brett Lee, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Billy Currington, Steven Tyler, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Taylor swift. These guys write the music for all of these world famous artists. They’re going to tell the stories behind the songs, what it’s like to go on tour. The creative process around it. And they’re also going to have some laughs, have a few drinks, and kind of bring us into the inner circle of how Nashville works. An incredible intimate experience.

Josh:

It’s going to be a lot of fun. Even if you could afford the ticket, you can’t get this ticket in Nashville to get this talent assembled in this setting. I’m blessed. This is a prime example of how you never know how building a relationship sooner or later, what it will evolve into. I was blessed to be a childhood friend of Cary Barlowe, a family friend. This guy is the real deal. A musician, super talented, never did I know that one day, you know, 40 years later, Cary and I would be in senior living doing an event on the rooftop of the Bobby. I mean, I think when you’re riding a big wheel at eight years old, I couldn’t play a tune in a bucket and still can’t and Cary what he’s accomplished in his lifetime is phenomenal. And I can’t wait for the attendees to hear what he’s bringing.

Lucas:

These are Grammy nominated singer songwriters guys. This is the apex of the entertainment industry, and they’re going to come and put on a custom show and storyteller session for the attendees of VIP ignite. Josh, we’re going to round out day two with a another awesome friend and incredible human being Dale Dupree. Day two. We’re going to tie all of these themes together and we’re going to uncover some mysteries that have taken place throughout the event. And Dale Dupree of the sales rebellion is going to speak to us after breakfast on day two, Dale, is well-known. He’s viral on LinkedIn. He’s a content creator and he is a person that understands human behavior better than anybody I’ve ever met.

Josh:

Well, here is the climactic moment of what is my favorite thing about what we are creating in this experience, How many of us that are together right now listening, if you’re hearing this and you’ve gone to events and you hear great people talking about great things and getting great education and meeting great people, at the end of the event, your heads spinning, and you have no clue what to do with that information. And it doesn’t seem to all tie together into a deliverable action. Dale Dupree, the sales rebellion, creating this experience alongside of us is going to tie all those loose ends together and send you a way motivated and with a toolkit that doesn’t just end with the event. That’s actually just the beginning. When you leave this event, it’s a family. You are part of igniting change together. And so that’s a whole other conversation, Lucas that I can’t wait to have with our listeners long after the event is wrapped up.

Lucas:

It is going to be phenomenal. Think big, think huge, build trust, ignite change. This is something that our industry has never seen before. We’re going to do it in a very unique way that you are going to never forget it. You can find out more information by going to VIPigniteexperience.com. See the agenda, see the talent, see the lineup, and also check out a lot of our sponsors there. If you want an invite. And if you want to come to our event, there’s a place where you can do that right there. You can request an invite and get in. The room blocks are almost all sold out or still a couple of spots left for you. We want to see you there. We want you to join us. So with that being said, Josh, another great talk around an event that we are so excited about. We want to see you in Nashville at the VIP ignite experience, August 16th and 17th. We’ll see you there!
